Description
An NIMH-funded Postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Psychiatry in the Child and Adolescent Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program (CHAAMP). Applicants will primarily be involved in analysis, and manuscript preparation related to the fMRI components of these studies. A strong interest in how neural correlates of social processes relate to psychopathology risk will be viewed favorably.
We have several ongoing and completed large-scale studies investigating social motivation, suicide and psychopathology risk, and childhood adversity using various methodologies in ages spanning 8-22 (including this study: https://osf.io/mhacr/overview.)
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will benefit from both the outstanding environment in CHAAMP and the collaborations between UNC Psychiatry and Psychology & Neuroscience. The candidate will be given opportunities to present their research work at national and international scientific meetings and will be highly supported in grant applications.
