Flux Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Committee

The Flux Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) Committee aims to foster equity, diversity, and inclusion in developmental cognitive neuroscience by supporting minoritized members, fostering a sense of belonging, and empowering all members to address systemic oppression to improve research quality and societal impact.

The committee accomplishes this by 1) Providing affinity spaces and support for members, 2) Coordinating a session for the annual Flux meeting, and 3) Coordinating with other committees to promote values of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all Flux processes.

Flux Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups (AGs) in Flux are formed around a shared identity or common goal to build community among members of non-dominant groups and to foster inclusion and awareness in the broader community. Flux Society currently has five affinity groups that are led and maintained by current members. Current leadership information is listed below.
