Awards Selection Process

The selection process for the Flux Awards is rigorous and thorough, ensuring that the most deserving candidates are chosen. This year, the Flux Awards Committee leadership selected members for subcommittees to ensure a broad range of experience, diversity, and inclusiveness across the Society.

These subcommittee members carefully review and evaluate the nominations based on the nominees' contributions to the field, the impact of their research, and their commitment to advancing our understanding of developmental cognitive neuroscience. They pay careful attention to avoid conflicts of interest throughout the process.

After their individual reviews, the subcommittee members meet to discuss their evaluations and vote on a final candidate. The subcommittee then sends the nomination to the Flux Board of Directors, who review it to ensure fairness and avoid conflicts of interest. This process ensures that the most outstanding nominations from our esteemed community are recognized.
