Position Title: Lab Assistant
Description:
The ENCoDe Team is conducting research on the development of functional and structural neural changes involved in face processing and other perceptual and cognitive domains (e.g., attention, language). Most of the projects will involve infant participants and their families, but there will be opportunities to conduct research with young adults.
This is a full-time temporary position for one year from the date of hire with the possibility of renewal contingent on performance and funding each 12 months. Flexible start-date before June 2025. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in psychology, cognitive science, integrative neuroscience, or related field, by date of appointment
- At least 6 months of full/part-time experience working in a research setting in developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, or developmental cognitive neuroscience (This research experience does not need to be consecutive nor paid)
- Comfortable interacting with infants/children and families
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Technical literacy (i.e., comfort in independently solving computer related tasks)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to adapt to the project's changing needs
- Research interest in developmental cognitive neuroscience and/or human neuroscience or related fields
Preferred:

- Experience with programming languages, such as R or MATLAB
- Experience working with infants and toddlers
- Experience working in diverse communities and communicating effectively with individuals from many different cultures and backgrounds
