Flux Outreach Event: The Young Child’s Brain: What Helps & What Harms?

Flux Society’s Communication Committee, in collaboration with the Early Childhood Development and Education Center at Kennedy Krieger, is excited to host a special 2024 outreach event titled "The Young Child's Brain: What Helps & What Harms?".

This event is designed for families, educators, and community members who are passionate about understanding the latest science behind how screen-time influences early brain development in children. Led by Dr. Tzipi Horowitz-Kraus, a distinguished expert in pediatric neurodevelopment, attendees will gain valuable insights on how to foster healthy cognitive growth in young children.

During the session, Dr. Horowitz-Kraus will discuss research-backed strategies and daily practices proven to enhance children's brain development and learning. This event will be especially helpful for those who want to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by modern technology in young children’s lives.
