The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Advisory Council was formed within the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study to ensure and promote JEDI values throughout all activities of the consortium. Three workgroups support these goals by focusing on 1) equitable and inclusive methods, 2) diversity and inclusion in ABCD, and 3) responsible use of ABCD Study data. JEDI initiatives at ABCD involve researchers across all career stages, representatives from NIH, and outside consultants and community stakeholders working together to address issues and challenges faced by minoritized individuals in society.
