The Brain Development Laboratory in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University Peabody College has a Research Assistant position available. The assistant will be involved in a project that investigates the neural basis of reading in children who are deaf and hard of hearing using magnetic resonance imaging. We are particularly interested in candidates with proficiency in American Sign Language. Our lab is broadly interested in developmental and individual differences in brain organization (https://lab.vanderbilt.edu/boothlab/). This position involves participant scheduling and coordination, administering cognitive testing, collecting neuroimaging data, data management and analysis, supervising undergraduate students, various administrative duties, and assisting with reports and research articles.
