The Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab directed by Dr. Jessica Church-Lang is seeking a full-time paid research associate to start as early as May 30, 2023 in Austin, TX. The position requires a BA or BS degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, or a related field. Strong candidates will be willing to make at least a 1-year commitment to the position, enjoy working with children and adolescents, have experience with computer programming (e.g., R, Python), and/or neuropsychological test administration experience, and/or fMRI/MRI experience. The job will involve fMRI data collection, data collection and processing, participant recruitment, scheduling, testing, and administrative duties. Weekend hours will be required (with reduced weekday hours). Strong writing, communication, programming, and organizational skills are strongly preferred. Spanish fluency is a significant asset.
