Postdoctoral Position at Georgetown University

Functional Neuroimaging

The Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at Georgetown University, directed by

Dr. Chandan Vaidya, is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow with fMRI analysis skills.

The postdoctoral position will support ongoing NIH-funded studies examining executive

function and learning in children with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including Autism and

ADHD. There are ample opportunities for making independent contributions using existing

transdiagnostic data and participation in ongoing studies. Duties include data analysis,

supervision of research assistants and graduate students, and contributing to manuscript and

grant preparation and writing. We expect the candidate to have strong statistical skills, user-

level familiarity with fMRI preprocessing and group-level analysis. Ongoing studies include

resting-state and task-evoked functional connectivity as well as activation data. Knowledge of

advanced imaging methods such as predictive modelling, and graph theory, is a plus.
