The Learning and Brain Development Lab (https://lbdlpsych.sites.northeastern.edu/) at Northeastern University in Boston, MA (PI: Juliet Y. Davidow) is excited to invite applications for a Lab Tech. The lab investigates how normative neurodevelopment during adolescence influences behaviors like learning, decision-making, and executive functions. The Lab Tech will be responsible for the general administration and supervision of the lab as well as conducting experiments in collaboration with the PI and other lab members. This full-time position will be an ideal way to learn more about research in psychology and neuroscience for individuals considering future graduate study in these fields. This is a 1 or 2-year position (renewal for year 2 is contingent on performance). Start date flexible - immediately through summer 2023.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in psychology, neuroscience, math, computer science, or other related field is required by the start date; a Master’s Degree (MA/MS) is desirable but not required. Experience conducting research, or with one or more of the following is beneficial (but not required) and should be mentioned in the application: interacting with children, adolescents, and families, conducting statistical analyses, working with brain imaging data, and coding in computer languages.
