The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has the extraordinary opportunity to recruit a new endowed tenure track faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 2023. The faculty member’s teaching and scholarship will result in active and ongoing participation in the Department’s new Center on Technology Use, Brain, and Psychological Development.

We are interested in scholars who examine the intersection of technology use, brain, and/or psychological development with potential focus on cognitive, neural, social, cultural, emotional, and behavioral functioning. We particularly welcome a scientist whose work fits into one or more of the following areas: adolescent development, early child development; digital media/gaming use, developmental cognitive neuroscience, social affective neuroscience, developmental psychopathology, media and culture.
