University of Oregon, Department of Psychology (academicjobsonline.org)

Successful candidates will contribute to research, teaching and mentorship, and leadership within the Diversity Science cluster area. The Diversity Science cluster cuts across traditional areas in our department, with current faculty representing clinical, social, and developmental psychology. Researchers from all areas of psychology and those who conduct psychology research within related disciplines (e.g., public health) are encouraged to apply. Excellent candidates will contribute to theoretically grounded, foundational research on topics such as (but not limited to) disparities in health and mental health, individual and community-based sources of resilience, development and socialization of identity and understandings of prejudice and discrimination, intergroup relations and conflict, or structural bases of inequality. We particularly welcome applications from scholars who are from groups historically underrepresented in the academy. This position is aligned with campus-wide initiatives to promote equity and justice through research and academics.
