Post-Doctoral Fellow in the NIMH-Intramural Research Program

The Section on Development an Affective Neuroscience (PI: Dr. Daniel Pine) examines neural processes as they relate to individual differences in anxiety. The research group focuses most deeply on using these insights to generate novel therapies for pediatric emotional problems. Trainees will receive training in a range of techniques, including brain imaging, advance statistics, and developmental psychopathology, with aspects of the training tailored to the needs of each fellow. The group works particularly closely in a team-based approach. As a result, trainees gain as much experience by working with colleagues as they do through dedicated study. Candidates seeking an academic career are most highly sought.
