Description: Primary responsibility of the research assistant will be to assist in administration of the Wellness, Health and Life Experiences study (WHALE study R01 MH115004). This study examines the neural correlates related to psychopathology and adversity exposure in young children ages 4-7 years. The research assistant will serve on a team with 4 other RAs in addition to graduate students and post doctoral fellows. Job duties will include data collection at participant’s homes, at the lab, and at the neuroimaging center here at UNC. In addition, research assistants will be responsible for helping with data cleaning and analysis. This includes neuroimaging (EEG, fMRI, and MRI) and psychophysiology data (heart rate, skin conductance). Research assistants will be directly supervised by the PI and post doctoral fellows. Preference will be given to prior experience with neuroimaging and work with children in this age range.
